Generic Celebrex-Celecoxib is in the FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it is not known whether it will harm an unborn baby. Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take Generic Celebrex-Celecoxib and talk to your doctor if you experience flatulence or diarrhea; dizziness; headache; or insomnia. If Generic Celebrex-Celecoxib is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Generic Celebrex-Celecoxib with the following:
• ACE-inhibitors (a type of blood pressure and heart medication, including such drugs as Capoten, Vasotec, and Prinivil)
• Blood thinning agents such as Coumadin
• Fluconazole (Diflucan)
• Furosemide (Lasix)
• Lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid)
• Thiazide diuretics (water pills) such as hydrochlorothiazide and Dyazide

If you take low-dose aspirin to protect against heart attack, you can continue taking it with Generic Celebrex-Celecoxib. Using aspirin increases your risk of stomach ulcers or bleeding, but Generic Celebrex-Celecoxib does not have aspirin's protective effect on the heart.
